2018 Jeep® Wrangler Reviews Give an A+ to New Generation

2018 Jeep® Wrangler reviews

The 2018 Jeep® Wrangler reviews are pouring in after the all-new SUV’s release last month, and the consensus is in: the new generation of Jeep® Wrangler is a hit, improving upon the previous generation while keeping all the best and most beloved things about it.

Available in both two-door and four-door models, the new Wrangler is just as rugged as the outgoing generation, and as the News Herald says, “most importantly, it still looks like a Wrangler.” There aren’t a lot of changes to the exterior design, but tweaks have been made to make the new Wrangler more aerodynamic, improving ride quality and efficiency.

Jeep® made the windows bigger to improve visibility, updated the headlights, and two easy automatic options for opening the top, all to add to the safety and comfort of the driver and passengers. At Slingerland CDJR FIAT our staff is thrilled with the new Wrangler and its iconic styling, better than ever performance, and advanced features.

The Wrangler is also more powerful, with a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar® base engine that puts out 285 horsepower, as well as under-hood additions like four skid plates over the fuel tank and transfer case, proving Jeep®’s dedication to making Wrangler the best off-roader on the market.

If you are curious about just what makes the Jeep® Wrangler so great, or just want to come see the updates in person, come down in person for a test drive!

There are plenty of reasons to buy a Jeep® Wrangler, but here are the top 10 reasons to buy a Jeep Wrangler from us here at Slingerland CDJR!

Reasons to Buy a Jeep Wrangler

Drivers can customize the new Jeep® Wrangler to fit their lifestyle. A two-door model is perfect for those who enjoy the simpler things in life, and the four-door model maintains the rugged look with more interior space.

The Jeep® Wrangler may be a rough, tough, off-road-ready machine, but it comes equipped with a plethora of features. Leather seats, a navigation system, and power windows and locks make it a hard SUV to pass up.

Air Conditioning

If there’s one thing many off-road SUVs lack, its air conditioning. The Jeep® Wrangler brings cool air as a standard feature.

Jeeps made their debut in 1941 at the height of World War II, when their capability knew no bounds, and continues to do so.

From television to a personal lifestyle, Jeeps hold a special place in the heart of America.

Removable Doors

Name a vehicle other than the Jeep® Wrangler with removable doors. We’ll wait.

Whether on urban streets or rough trails, the Jeep® Wrangler offers a smooth ride thanks to its independent coil suspension.

Removable Top

Generally reserved for slinky sports cars, the Jeep® Wrangler features an available removable hard and soft top.

Easy Cleaning

Cleaning the Jeep® Wrangler’s interior is as simple as popping the drain plugs and letting loose with a hose.

There aren’t many off-road-ready SUVs like the Jeep® Wrangler, and the Wrangler Rubicon takes it to a new level. Heavy-duty axles and more ground clearance are just two of the Rubicon model’s most attractive features.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Updates: Spy Shots and More

2018 Jeep Wrangler Updates
The new model will stick with Jeep’s seven-slot grille.

Year after year – Jeep raises the bar with the Jeep Wrangler pick-up truck, an off-roading monster that has been relied upon since World War II. And now, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is about to hit dealerships, stronger than ever before.

Jeep is fully redesigning the Wrangler for the first time in about a decade, with the 2018 Jeep Wrangler being the 11th-generation version of the vehicle. The new SUV has yet to make any official public appearances, but more than a few spy shots have been captured of the model in testing.

Of course, the testing vehicles have been highly camouflaged, but there are still a few things we know. The new model will stick with Jeep’s seven-slot grille, for one thing. In general, the new Wrangler is likely to reflect the latest trends, but will still be embracing Jeep’s signature style.

The Jeep Wrangler has been the ultimate off-road SUV for decades, and we think it’s safe to say that the redesigned edition of the model will be better than ever before. The model is slated to hit the market sometime next year.

We will keep you posted on 2018 Jeep Wrangler updates, and in the meantime, if you’d like to check out a current Jeep model or any other vehicles that we have in store, stop by and visit us anytime, at Slingerland CDJR!

Chrysler’s $1 Billion Investment to Create 2,000 Jobs

Car Assembly Plant

Automakers have been making major investments in American manufacturing following the 2016 President Election and Chrysler isn’t about to be left out. The manufacturer announced that it would spend $1 billion to update plants in Michigan and Ohio. The announcement of Chrysler’s $1 billion investment comes with confirmation of several new vehicles in the brand lineups as well.

Fiat Chrysler’s manufacturing plant in Warren, Michigan will see modernization across the board as well as the capability to produce a full-size pickup. The Michigan plant will also produce other large vehicles, such as the returning Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.

As for Ohio, the Toledo Jeep plant will see a plethora of new equipment that will allow it to create the recently-announced Wrangler pickup.

The investment will bring 2,000 new jobs to Warren and Toledo as well as the surrounding areas.

Renewed confidence in the American automotive market comes with the increase in demand for trucks, crossovers, and SUVs. The investment comes as a major step towards adding two new large SUVs and a pickup to the Jeep lineup.

The automaker officially announced the return of all three vehicles at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show.

We here at Slingerland CDJR Fiat are happy to see such a large investment in United States manufacturing!
